Strategic Partnerships funding aims to support areas of synergies between Research Manitoba, Industry and/or Philanthropic Organizations with a current focus on COVID-19 initiatives in research, health innovation and therapeutic areas.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Strategic Partnerships funding supported opportunities related to the Rapid Response Grant including both clinical trials and applied health research projects. We are proud to have partnered with the following organizations to support this research: Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, and the Victoria General Hospital Foundation.
The objective of these funds is to support health research and innovation in support of a large trial, led out of Manitoba, that has sites across Canada and in seven (7) other countries around the world. Research Manitoba will use our funds to leverage matching contributions from industry and/or philanthropic organizations.
