Designed for manufacturers by manufacturers, CME’s training programs are designed exclusively for the needs of the manufacturing workplace. CME’s Ontario Lean Training Program will focus on helping companies adapt to pandemic realities by showing how to safely and effectively improve their overall productivity.

The training programs being offered free of charge are Lean 101 and Lean Level I Yellowbelt. Lean 101 is a one-day interactive workshop that introduces Lean to those who have never had any exposure. It is applicable to all levels in the organization – through presentation, discussion, simulation and group exercises, participants learn about the seven wastes and the core principles, concepts, philosophy, and benefits of applying Lean within their organization. Lean is all about engaging people in the spirit of continuous improvement – Lean Level I Yellowbelt provides an in-depth introduction to Lean with an emphasis on the five core Lean principles and waste reduction. Facilitated by experts with real-world experience, this five-day program is focused on hands-on learning. Participants work through group exercises and homework assignments to consolidate the learning and prepare them to support continuous improvement efforts.
