Each year a portion of the $140 million Community Gaming Grants program budget is allocated to capital projects undertaken by not-for-profit organizations that have a total cost of more than $20,000.
Capital Project Grants provide $5 million annually to not-for-profit organizations throughout B.C., to support the completion of inclusive, accessible capital projects that meet community-identified needs and priorities. This page includes information about these grants, including eligibility criteria, grant amounts, how and when to apply and more.

Overview
Organization Eligibility | Not-for-profit organizations that provide programs or services that benefit the community, who are completing a capital project intended to enhance quality of life in their community. Details provided in Section 2.1 of the Capital Projects Grant Guidelines. |

Project Eligibility | Capital projects that demonstrate public accessibility and widespread community benefit. Projects must fall into one of the four project categories (facilities, community infrastructure, acquisitions or repatriation) and must have a total cost of $20,000 to $1,250,000. See Section 2 of the Capital Project Grant Guidelines for mandatory project eligibility criteria |
Financial Eligibility | Applicants must demonstrate that they have matching funds available to complete the proposed capital project. See Section 2.3 of the Capital Project Grant Guidelines for financial eligibility criteria. |
Grant Amount | Funding may be provided up to a maximum of $250,000; providing between 20 and 50 per cent of the total estimated project cost. |
Application | One application per year. One project per application.
