The intent of this funding stream is to build the resiliency of volunteer and composite fire departments through the purchase of new or replacement equipment, and to facilitate the delivery of training and exercises.
- To support projects that facilitate training or purchase of equipment for volunteer or composite fire departments;
- Eligible activities must be cost-effective and may include: purchase of new or replacement equipment to enhance the ability of eligible fire departments to meet the needs of the community and Playbook standards; training to enhance the ability of eligible fire departments to meet the needs of the community and Playbook standards.
