Description
The Communities in Transition (CIT) Program is split into two separate grant programs: the CIT Capital Grant Program and the CIT Operating Grant Program.- When a village dissolves into an RM and becomes an unorganized hamlet or special service area, the province discontinues Municipal Revenue Sharing payments to that village. Instead, an annual grant payment is made to the RM under the CIT Operating Grant Program.
