Clayoquot Biosphere Trust
The Clayoquot Biosphere Trust has five volunteer Advisory Committees that review grant requests — Research & Environment, Youth & Education, Community Development, Culture & Events, and the Resident Advisory Committee for Neighbourhood Small Grants. Each Committee is comprised of 12 to 15 volunteers from around the region with interest or expertise in that particular field. They generally meet 2 to 5 times per year. Advisory Committees are key players in our granting process; they review proposals and make funding recommendations to the CBT Board of Directors.

The Clayoquot Biosphere Trust has five volunteer Advisory Committees that review grant requests — Research & Environment, Youth & Education, Community Development, Culture & Events, and the Resident Advisory Committee for Neighbourhood Small Grants. Each Committee is comprised of 12 to 15 volunteers from around the region with interest or expertise in that particular field. They generally meet 2 to 5 times per year. Advisory Committees are key players in our granting process; they review proposals and make funding recommendations to the CBT Board of Directors.- To address regional priorities and complex challenges that influence sustainability in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region. These larger grants aim to support meaningful collaboration between organizations, communities, and cultures and must include a minimum of two project partners.
