Child Care Centre Development Tax Credit Program
Eligible corporations that develop, through construction or renovations, a child care centre with a minimum number of infant and/or preschool spaces, will receive a tax credit certificate from the ELCC program worth $10,000.00 for each newly created space. The credit eligibility is not tied to an actual expenditure outlay, but rather the creation of a provincially licensed space.

Eligible corporations that develop, through construction or renovations, a child care centre with a minimum number of infant and/or preschool spaces, will receive a tax credit certificate from the ELCC program worth $10,000.00 for each newly created space. The credit eligibility is not tied to an actual expenditure outlay, but rather the creation of a provincially licensed space.- As part of the Manitoba Budget 2018, the Province announced the introduction of a new tax credit for private corporations who invest in the creation of new Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) spaces to support their employees and the surrounding community.
