The Jack R. MacDonald Fund was may possible by the generous donation from Jack R. MacDonald. The fund honours his legacy of support to the former Village of Elora. For many years Mr. MacDonald donated to fund projects in Elora. The Jack R. MacDonald Charitable Trust was created upon his death in 2013. The Township of Centre Wellington was one of five organizations that received funds from the trust. Seed money for the Jack R. MacDonald Community Fund came from a donation from the trust fund.
This fund aligns with the Vital Signs Report of 2019. It recognizes the importance of charities and not-for-profits in the health and well-being of our community
