The Advance Payments Program is a federal program, delivered and administered by Canadian Canola Growers Association. Under the program, the Government of Canada provides the loan guarantee, funds the interest-free portion of advances and helps to make low interest rates on the remainder for Canadian producers.
CCGA is an Advance Payments Program (APP) administrator, regarded for our innovation in delivering the program to 10,000 farmers a year. We undertake policy development on issues affecting canola farmers, including transportation, trade, risk management, sustainability, crop inputs and more. We advocate for grower interests through direct representation to parliamentarians, legislators and government officials.
