The capital assistance program: contributes to the social, cultural and economic development of Québec by improving cultural facilities and infrastructures that must meet professional norms and standards and by protecting and enhancing heritage assets; and promotes accessibility and citizen participation in arts and culture, strengthening identity and sense of belonging, and strengthening artistic creation.
