Description
The Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a 5-year, $3 billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments to help the agriculture and agri-food processing industry.- Research to advance Yukon agriculture and provide advice to Yukon agricultural producers, processors and agri-businesses in all aspects of farm management, production, processing, marketing, conservation techniques, new farm technology and farm financing.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of northern agricultural research and demonstration programs in the Yukon; sponsoring participation in circumpolar research projects and activities that have a direct and primary benefit to the Yukon agriculture sector, including the Circumpolar Agricultural Conference; and providing funding for small-scale research projects or pilot projects.
