Funds are available under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP) to support First Nations communities, individuals or organizations who are interested in participating the New Brunswick agricultural industry, including local foods.

To support Indigenous farmers develop viable business plans and navigate the complexities of farm finances and production costs. This category also includes applications which support technical and leadership skill development needed for overall business and farm management. Funding is also available to support agricultural producer associations or Indigenous agricultural organizations to assist them with the development of the strategic direction of their organization or sector and to acquire the skills and training needed to operate a successful Indigenous Agricultural organization.
