The Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a 5-year, $3 billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments to help the agriculture and agri-food processing industry.

  • This program supports the development of food safety strategies and activities, including: food safety education and training activities that will allow for the adaptation and implementation of the HACCP or HACCP-based systems on farms and in the agrifood processing sector; implementation of food safety BMPs that will address food safety requirements in meat slaughter or processing, egg production, dairy and market garden operations; food safety regulatory compliance activities that will facilitate adoption of, and compliance with, food safety standards and egulations, as well as address health and safety issues associated with agri-business activities; livestock and agri-product traceability initiatives.
