The Canada-Manitoba Job Grant is an employer-driven approach to help Manitobans gain the skills they need to fill available jobs and to help employers develop the skills of their existing workers to meet the requirements of their present job, or to move into a better job.



  • To help Manitobans gain the skills they need to fill available jobs and to help employers develop the skills of their existing workers to meet the requirements of their present job, or to move into a better job.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Applications MUST be submitted using the latest version of the CMJG application. The application can be downloaded from the link above. Applications submitted on prior versions will not be accepted.
  • Applications MUST be submitted by the applicant identified in the application. Applications submitted by another organization on behalf of the business identified in the application will be deemed ineligible.
  • Eligible training must take place between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
  • Continuous intake until the Job Grant funding is fully allotted or all eligible applications have been funded, whichever comes first.
  • Small and medium sized employers (those with 100 or fewer employees) can receive  up to 75% of eligible training costs and large employers (those with 101 employees or more) can receive  up to 50% of eligible training costs.
  • CMJG payments are made once all training has been completed, and reporting requirements are met. Advance payments are not available.
