Canada Digital Adoption Program’s (CDAP) - Stream 2: Boost Your Business Technology

[Effective 2024-07-16] Applications for the Boost Your Business Technology grant are currently closed - The Canada Digital Adoption Program's (CDAP) Boost Your Business Technology grant is fully subscribed and is not accepting new applications at this time.

The Boost your Business Technology Stream will offer support to small and medium Canadian-owned businesses (SMEs), to adopt new technologies. The support will be in the form of grants to offset the cost of retaining Digital Advisors who will develop digital adoption plans tailored to the business. The grant will cover 90% of the cost to develop the digital plan, up to $15,000.

In addition, SMEs will be able to access a zero-interest loan (up to $100,000) through the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to finance the implementation of their digital adoption plan. They will also be able to apply for a wage subsidy of up to $7,300 to pay for work placements of students and recent graduates to support their digital transformation efforts.

The CDAP Boost Your Business Technology grant helps SMEs:

• reduce overhead costs
• speed up transactions
• respond to clients more quickly
• manage inventory more efficiently
• improve supply chain logistics

Funding limits

• A grant to cover 90% of the cost (up to $15,000) of retaining a Digital Advisor who will develop a digital adoption plan tailored to your business
• To support the implementation of the plan, you will be able to apply for a zero-interest loan from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) (up to $100,000)
• Businesses will receive a wage subsidy up to $7,300 to hire talent through the funded work placement
