Purpose
The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM), Department of Immigration, Population Growth, and Skills (IPGS) is calling for projects to support the social, economic, and cultural integration of newcomers to the province. Programming and initiatives will be funded through the Labour Market Integration for Newcomers (LMIN) Program.
Background
In light of Provincial Government goals, OIM is inviting applications for funding to build upon existing and present innovative programming to address the following priorities.
Stream 2 – Settlement Services and Supports
- Pre-arrival Settlement Programming;
- Settlement (rural approaches and projects led by cultural groups will be prioritized);
- Building Welcoming Communities; and,
- Intercultural competency and anti-racism training.
