Call for projects – Support for organizations that offer incubation and acceleration services in the life sciences

The Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation invites non-profit organizations whose primary mission is to offer incubation or acceleration services to startups working in the life sciences sector to submit an application for financial support. This call for projects aims to financially support organizations that have developed expertise in supporting companies with high growth potential in the field of life sciences.

Financial assistance may represent up to 60% of eligible expenses and reach $500,000 per year, per organization, for a maximum period of three (3) years. The combined assistance from the different levels of government (municipal, provincial and federal) cannot exceed 80% of the total eligible expenses.

Objective

This call for projects aims to support the operation of organizations whose primary mission is to provide incubation and acceleration services to startups in the life sciences sector.

These innovative technology companies are active in three main sub-sectors:

1. the biopharmaceutical field;
2. medical technologies;
3. digital health.
