Call for innovation projects in quantum technologies
Section 2 is intended for SMEs in quantum technologies intended for the production of goods and services or for the performance of in-house research and development activities.
The Government of Quebec is launching a call for projects to support Quebec companies of all sizes, primarily SMEs and startups, wishing to carry out an innovation project for the development and commercialization of quantum technologies.
The call for projects aims to support innovation resulting from research and development in the following areas:
- quantum computing;
- quantum communication;
- quantum materials;
- quantum metrology and detection.
Proposed projects should contribute to the development and commercialization of quantum technologies in the following fields of application (non-exclusive):
- life sciences;
- sustainable development;
- transport and logistics.
- Ensure the development and consolidation of innovation efforts in the field of quantum technologies.
- Strengthen the technological innovation capacity of businesses and materialize technology development and transfer through economic spinoffs.
- Contribute to positioning Québec as a leader in the development of quantum technologies.
