BEGIN initiative: Bridging Educational Grant In Nursing
The BEGIN initiative: Bridging Educational Grant In Nursing, jointly offered by the Ministry of Long-Term Care, Ministry of Health and the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario, will provide tuition support to personal support workers and registered practical nurses so they can pursue further education to become registered practical nurses and registered nurses respectively.

The BEGIN initiative: Bridging Educational Grant In Nursing, jointly offered by the Ministry of Long-Term Care, Ministry of Health and the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario, will provide tuition support to personal support workers and registered practical nurses so they can pursue further education to become registered practical nurses and registered nurses respectively.Applicants will be expected to commit to working in the long-term care sector through a Return of Service Agreement for a period equivalent to the time they receive these funding supports for their education.
