Component III of the Public Transit Development Assistance Program (PADTC) has the specific objectives of: promote alternative modes of transportation to the automobile, in particular through the support offered to trip management centers; support research into the quantification and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the passenger land transport sector. This program is divided into two sections: financial assistance for carrying out studies on greenhouse gas emissions and financial assistance to support the operation of travel management centers.
