In order to promote the development and consolidation of the Route verte network and the regional cycle networks that are linked to it, to help partners to conserve, improve and bring these infrastructures up to standard, as well as to support them for maintenance of the segments for which they are responsible, the Ministry has set up the Active Transport Infrastructure Assistance Program (Véloce III).
The general objective of the program is to support the development, improvement and maintenance of active transport infrastructure. It supports modes of transport capable of reducing greenhouse gas emissions caused by the movement of people, while promoting a modal shift to active transport and supporting sustainable tourism.
