Arts, Culture and Sport in Community (ACSC) Fund | Large Capital Projects

The Manitoba government's Arts, Culture and Sport in Community (ACSC) fund provides grants to support the arts, culture (heritage, public libraries, and ethnocultural organizations) and amateur sport sectors, enhancing Manitobans' opportunities to access quality programming and facilities in their own community.

Purpose

The Arts, Culture and Sport in Community Large Capital Program will support the development and renewal of spaces and facilities needed for arts, culture and amateur sport programming and activity.

Objectives

• Improve the quality, accessibility and availability of facilities for Manitobans to engage with the arts, culture and amateur sports in their community
• Work with arts, culture and amateur sport organizations to assist them with meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Manitobans Act
• Ensure equitable opportunities to access arts, culture and sport facilities across all regions of the province, including urban, rural and northern
• Support communities to maintain heritage resources as part of sustainable development efforts
