Arts and Cultural Industries - Strategic Initiatives Fund (SIF)

The Strategic Initiatives Fund (SIF) program provides grants to assist in covering some of the cost of projects/activities/initiatives that uses innovative approaches in order to strengthen the economic/strategic contribution of the cultural and artistic sector in New Brunswick.

• To encourage cultural and artistic events/activities that contribute to the visibility, vitality and professionalism of the province’s arts and culture sector as outlined in the Cultural Policy; to strengthen the professionalism of New Brunswick’s arts and cultural sector through projects / initiatives that mobilize multiple partners and provide increased creative, economic and/or professional benefits for professional artists and cultural producers; to support projects / initiatives that p r ovide visibility and export opportunity for New Brunswick’s professional arts and culture sector.
