Alberta Made Production Grant Training and Mentorship Incentive Overview The Alberta Made Production Grant (AMPG)Training and Mentorship Incentive supports on-set mentorship and knowledge transfer for activities related to on-set training, job shadowing and mentorship. The incentive subsidizes salaries for those employed by eligible production companies in the industry mentor and trainee role. The wages/salaries for the positions are subsidized for the purpose of aiding in the growth of Alberta’s screen-based industry skill set.
Incentive Up to $35,000, or to a maximum of 7 per cent of the total Alberta spend. Funding is calculated on top of the standard 25 per cent of all eligible labour and non-labour costs by supplementing eligible mentor and trainee labour costs with an added 25 per cent incentive, up to a maximum of 7 per cent of the total Alberta spend. The incentive is calculated at 25 per cent of mentor wages + 25 per cent of trainee wages. The potential total grant amount, including the base grant amount of $125,000, is $160,000. Max AMPG Grant $125,000 + Max TM Incentive $35,000 = $160,000.
