Age-Friendly Newfoundland and Labrador Communities Grants Program
An age-friendly community is one where the physical and social environments enable older individuals to live in a secure setting, enjoy health and continue to participate fully in society. The Age-Friendly Newfoundland and Labrador (AFNL) Grants Program offers funding to incorporated municipalities, Indigenous governments and communities throughout the entire province to support them in planning for an aging population.

An age-friendly community is one where the physical and social environments enable older individuals to live in a secure setting, enjoy health and continue to participate fully in society. The Age-Friendly Newfoundland and Labrador (AFNL) Grants Program offers funding to incorporated municipalities, Indigenous governments and communities throughout the entire province to support them in planning for an aging population.- Communities throughout the province are participating in the Age-Friendly Communities (AFC) Program to create a community dialogue that enhances our collective ability and responsibility to plan for an aging population.
