The Regional Aerospace Recovery Initiative (ARRI) will help the Canadian aerospace industry emerge from the pandemic with the ability to compete on the global stage. It is in addition to the support offered to the aerospace industry through Canada's Economic Intervention Plan and by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) through the Strategic Innovation Fund .
The initiative will help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) achieve the following three objectives:
- - Make their activities greener and adopt environmentally sustainable practices
- - Improve productivity
- - Strengthen marketing while promoting integration into regional and global supply chains.
